SCRID will be hosting this knowledge-based workshop exploring the current state of legal sign language interpreting in southern California. The workshop will be held online and consist of both direct instruction and group discussions.
Participant registration will be capped at 20 participants and limited to certified community interpreters. An afternoon repeat of the workshop will be opened with sufficient demand. All participants of the online training will be eligible to register for an all-day hands on legal interpreting training the following Saturday, 14 May 2026.

This hands-on skills-based workshop is a continuation of the 07 March online legal training. Activities will include both direct instruction and group activities. Instructional activity will begin at 9a. A one hour lunch break will be provided. Engagement in the 3/7 online session and completion of assigned pre-readings are prerequisite.
